Location: Gloucestershire (with potential for relocation support)

Responsibilities:

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will coordinate with project engineering teams to develop and deliver technically and commercially acceptable solutions. You will be key in helping to progress prototypes through development using your expertise in C++ and certifications. Day to day you will be developing and documenting software architecture, design, and verification strategies. Youll also be supporting bids by offering technical solutions, estimates, and plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

To succeed in this role a proficiency in C/Assembly and C++ coding languages is essential, as is an exposure to D0178B/C standards and objectives within the aerospace industry. You will come from a background of embedded software development and be experienced in designing, developing and maintaining embedded systems. Due to the nature of the role, you will need experience in reviewing schematics and reading data sheets, including supporting hardware bring-ups and debugging. You will possess knowledge of model-based software development using Simulink or Stateflow and model-based system design for complex systems. Familiarity with communication protocols such as ARINC825, ARINC429, I2C, CANOpen, and Serial Bus will also be a must.
