AI Software Architect

I am seeking an experienced AI Software Architect with expertise working on hardware processors, to join my client creating next-gen tech for ultra-fast and efficient AI acceleration. It’s all based on years of ground-breaking research and the succesful AI Software Architect will work closely with hardware architects to help develop and model the next-gen AI accelerator.

Primary responsibilities

  • Lead the decision making and technical roadmap regarding the AI models and applications to focus on, software stack and compiler workload
  • Design the overall system architecture in collaboration with hardware architects
  • Help grow the software team in the right direction
Essential experience
  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, EE, Mathematics or similar
  • Minimum 4+ years in industry as an AI / ML / SW architect, in the domain of specialized hardware platforms and preferably for AI processors
  • Deep understanding of AI model architectures, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their integration with specialized hardware platforms
  • Experience with tools and libraries for AI model quantization, compression, and optimization to maximize performance on specialized hardware
  • Optimizing AI model inference pipelines for performance, efficiency, and scalability on hardware accelerators
  • Hardware-software co-design
Desired experience
  • Knowledge of parallel computing principles and experience with parallel programming models (e.g., MPI, OpenMP) for distributed AI processing
