You will be accountable for running and leading testing across our Monthly Release cycle, assuring the quality of delivery into these Releases and managing the raising of defects and backlog items for addressing either within the current Sprint or for prioritisation for future sprints. You will be working with a peer or reporting team of other Quality Engineers and will need to be detailed yet flexible as befits Agile delivery. What you'll needA solid Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering background with a good knowledge of Test Lifecycle, Test Models, Best Practices, Test Benchmarking and Test Tools. This includes a good awareness of Test Data and Environments. Be able to project and implement "Automation first" approach in every phase of software delivery process that aids speed to market, better quality and reduces risks. Experience with toolsets including Selenium, UFT, ALM, Cucumber, GitHub, Postman; with a willingness to learn and develop those skills that will be needed for success in the future. Work in cross-disciplinary feature teams delivering exciting customer driven solutions and high quality software. Showcase excellent interpersonal and communications skills whilst expertly working across the project lifecycle to ensure software operates as intended. Exercise responsibility, autonomy and judgement within broad, but well defined parameters. Work in a highly collaborative way to complete assigned work, showcase progress and address problems that are well defined, complex and often non-routine. Be a quick learner with a growth mindset adapting to new technologies being used within Lloyds and the wider industry whilst bringing those around them on the same journey. Significant problem solving, fixing and analytical skills. Experience of leading test teams, test management, Coordination of testing across our partners and mentoring junior team members. Undertakes & handles testing of more complex code changes across multiple types of testing to deliver products that are fit for purpose and meet the quality standards that our customers expect, based on deep domain and technical expertise. Understands the importance of testing and the Quality Framework within LBG and educates other change disciplines.
