BACK OFFICE (BO) BUSINESS ANALYST, LONDON- £50,000

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading financial software house based in the City. Operating out of numerous offices worldwide, my client has formed an exceptional reputation throughout its 25 year heritage, and now represents hundreds of corporate, treasury and commercial banking clients on an international scale.

As such, they are now looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their Back Office Development team, situated in their London office. On a day to day basis, the successful Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing both internally generated and external requirements from clients and liasing with the development team to ascertain the feasibility of said requirements and designing the solution. Alongside this, you will be expected to design and build test cases for the developed solutions and document these results along with any issues found. As this is a full cycle role, you will also be required to liase with clients post implementation to resolve any issues found alongside the Professional or Client Services team, and ensure that any particular bugs are documented and fixed.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must have:

proven relevant experience within a related software house/systems provider or large financial institution.

demonstrable understanding of Back Office processes including SWIFT payment and confirmation messaging, confirmation matching, CLS settlement systems, Cash Management, Workflow, Static Data

exceptional communiation skills, both verbal and written, to both technical and non-technical people

the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

strong problem solving skills

Qualification to degree level in a related subject is desirable, although not strictly essential
