Role title: Business Analyst

We are sourcing on behalf of our client an experienced Business Analyst to lead the definition of requirements for a new financial services platform. You will have ownership of creating the full requirements specifications of one of the key foundation modules of the platform and will work across functions with business owners, product managers and developers to understand and document requirements and deliver them to a high standard.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply your business analysis skills to a Greenfield environment and work with cutting-edge technology applications in a financial services context.

You will spend a significant amount of time onsite at client offices. Initially this will be either a Tier 1 or 2 global corporate and investment bank.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with stakeholders including business product managers, IT, UX, legal and compliance

Define and document business requirements

Work with developers to refine requirements

Required skills and experience:

5-7 years’ business analyst experience in the financial services industry

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Able to demonstrate ability to deliver to a tight timeline

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of project management best practice and methodology

Proven ability to work across all levels of an organisation

Experience working across many functions including IT, Legal, Compliance and Business
