Development Team Leader (C++) - Cheshire £55-£65K. Our growing client based near Stockport, Cheshire is currently looking for a Development Team Leader with C++ skills.

The Development team has been built over the last 8 years with a drive towards technical excellence and a genuine enthusiasm for creativity and innovation. It's important that we find somebody who appreciates the dedication required for developing ground-breaking products.

The successful candidate will play a key part in the design and hands-on development of our clients market leading products. Working as part of a scrum team you will receive on the job training and mentoring, and will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Experience and technical skills:

- Experience of leading a team of software engineers

- Excellent people management skills

- Hands on experience of developing enterprise software, preferably using C++

Advantageous experience and skills:

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies

- Experience of using Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server

- Experience in advanced debugging techniques

- Experience in developing security software

- Knowledge of Windows architecture and APIs

- Writing multithreaded software

- Designing for performance & stability

- Peer reviews

- Unit testing
