Job Purpose
Full Stack Developer are responsible for delivering Design-Driven Digital Services to the Public Sector. You will be a full stack developer, comfortable with both web technologies as well as architecting scalable and portable back-ends in the cloud.
You will be part of agile teams, designing modern solutions, as well as playing a big part in enabling us to win more work digitising UK government services. We’re a small company, so you’ll have a great opportunity to help grow our capability in this area, involving yourself in pre-sales activity to win the next exciting project. A successful candidate would champion the use of modern technologies to further our ability to deliver high quality applications to our clients with less effort.

Successful candidates will be subject to BPSS checks. Depending on the role undertaken, further National Vetting checks may be required.
Education
The ideal candidate will have a 2.1 (equivalent alternative qualifications will be considered) or relevant experience.

Technologies
We believe in using the right technologies to solve each problem, so the technologies we use will vary from project to project. Familiarity with some of the following technologies and approaches would be beneficial:
Languages: Java, Scala, C#, Ruby, JavaScript
Front-end: HTML 5, Angular, React, Play framework, SASS/LESS
Back-end: Spring Boot, Microservices and API development, Event-driven architecture
Databases: MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis
Cloud Providers: Azure, AWS
Testing: Unit testing, TDD, BDD
Continuous Delivery Tools: Jenkins, Git, Docker, Visual Studio Team Services
Experience
You will have proven experience of:
Developing modern MV* applications through to delivery and support
Development on to Linux or on to cloud infrastructure
Working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes and technologies
Working with third-party customers / clients
Working as part of an agile team
Experience working with Public Sector clients would be beneficial

Salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience
