IT Support Officer 6 month contract

The purpose of this role is to provide friendly end user IT support. You will be working directly underneath the Head of IT so contract extension & career progression is a definite possibility for the successful candidate. You will work towards restructuring the existing internal network (both wired and wireless) .

You will be responsible for:

* Managing day to day offices for the companies two offices in the Sydney CBD.

* Assist in office plans to relocate in terms of telecoms and IT.

* 1st & 2nd level IT support both face to face and via phone.

* Create and manage IT hardware/software inventory & user access to multiple networking appliances.

* Mac and Windows desktop support.

* Networking includes: 3rd level LAN's, WANs, WiFi, routers, VPNs, VLANs, Firewalls, File Servers.

* restructure internal networks.

Skills:

The successful candidate Will have experience in:

* 1st and 2nd level IT desktop Support (phone and face to face).

* experience with networking 3rd level LANs, WANs, WiFi, routers, VPNs, VLANs, Firewalls, File Servers.

* Mac and Windows machines experience.

Desirable:

* Relocation experience

The successful candidate will be proactive, you should be able to work without being told what to do and take chances to progress projects. You will also be a team player and work well with others to achieve an end goal.
