Job Title: Front End Web Developer

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £20k - 25k per annum

Responsibilities:

* Develop scalable and maintainable state-of-the-art web front-end / UX

* Work independently or as part of a team to deliver functional and well-tested user interfaces according to focused deadlines

* Integrate front-end functions with back-end data and processes

* Work with other developers, project manager and stakeholders

* Accurately estimate time to complete tasks based on stories / requirements

* Work with team to influence direction of front-end design standards

* Willingness to learn new skills and keep up to date with the latest technologies

Skills and Experience - Essential:

* 3+ years commercial experience in web front-end development

* Javascript / jQuery / Bootstrap

* Experience integrating with back-end server technologies using AJAX / JSON

* HTML / HTML5 (cross-browser/platform valid markup)

* CSS / CSS3

* Responsive / Mobile First design

Skills and Experience - Desirable:

* MVC experience

* PHP

* MySQL

* Photoshop / Illustrator for design, icons, images, mockups

* Wordpress

Professional and Other Skills:

* Proven web front-end development track record

* Able to collaborate effectively with other team members

* Organised, reliable and thorough, with a strong attention to detail

* Ability to produce draft visual designs.

* Knowledge of web best-practice and Web Accessibility standards.

* Understanding of user needs and optimum user experience
