Are you a talented and innovative Business Intelligence Analyst looking for a new challenge?

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to provide analytical support within a multidisciplinary team based at our Basildon site.

Our CCG clients have ambitious plans to transform commissioned services and you will help them identify areas for change. You will be working alongside commissioners and providers. Amongst other tasks, you will undertake contract monitoring and performance reporting as well as baseline setting for the planning round.

You will possess excellent numerical and analytical skills, using SQL server and MS Excel at advanced level. You will work with diverse and complex information sources, automating data processing as necessary. You will be responsible for interpreting and presenting detailed data both internally and also to commissioners and providers, and will provide advice on complex informatics issues.

Part of your working week will also be spent in CCG offices, allowing you to gain an in-depth knowledge of their plans and priorities. You will benefit from being a key member of a multidisciplinary team, as well as of a wide ranging analytics function within one of the largest CSUs in the country, providing a best in class business intelligence service to its clients.

To be considered for the role, you must have a well-developed working knowledge of NHS data definitions, structures and financial flows such as payment by results. You must have experience of Acute, Community or Mental Health Services Commissioning/Contracting. You will need to work proactively, and develop strong working relationships internally and externally. You will need to be a capable communicator, able to tailor your approach to a variety of audiences.
