The Application Engineer Role:

The role of Applications Engineer will strengthen our existing Projects Team. It is a customer facing role, with regular travel within the UK and Europe and will suit an experienced Automation Engineer who is able to, and enjoys, working autonomously. You must have/ be:

> Experience/ knowledge of commissioning automation systems.

> An understanding of electrical control systems/ automation systems

> Exposure to and an understanding of software programming environment and architectures

> A good understanding of Health and Safety requirements (professional qualification desirable)

> Ability to demonstrate clear, logical thinking

> Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

> Desire to work with significant autonomy and have a high degree of drive and personal initiative and motivation

> Comfortable with travelling (Mainly UK and Ireland, however some travel to other countries may be required)

> Good problem solving acumen

> Ability to adapt approach for different customers

> Ability to multi-task

> Excellent attention to detail and process control

> Thorough organisational skills

> Adaptable and resourceful

Advantageous (but not a deal-breaker):

> Experience of deploying machine vision systems would be very advantageous

> Robotic and/or PLC programming skills would be a distinct advantage
