Design Engineer- Electrical Distribution Systems

£30-38K plus benefits

Brentwood, Essex

Are you an Electrical Engineer with a design or applications background, looking to work for a rapidly growing and highly successful company working in the electrical connection sector?

The position is to provide applications support to Project Manager, from contract recognition through to completion.

To this end, the position includes the following duties:

-Produce and evaluate indicative designs that meet customer requirements, and comply with DNO G81's

-Use existing knowledge of between commercial and technical risk to assist with the Sales Team making Decisions in order to win new business, including quotations.

-Understand and apply ENA ER standards

To apply you should have the following:

-Working experience in a Design or Applications Engineering Role within the Electricity Distribution Industry

-Demonstrable Knowledge of G81 Design and Distribution Equipment and of costing electrical distribution solutions

-Knowledge of the practical Operation of DNO Networks
