Due to expansion, they are now looking for a dedicated Network Engineer to join their team.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 3rd line support to users via the telephone and email and providing a first class standard of service.

Acting as the final point of escalation within the Technical Team, you’ll tackle a broad spectrum of technical issues that were passed on by Level 1 and 2 Support Engineers. Liaising directly with customers and Support Engineers, you’ll troubleshoot IT issues and problems in a timely manner.

Additionally, you’ll accurately log all incidents within the helpdesk management system and ensure that customers are kept fully updated with the status of their issues and tickets.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least three years’ experience as a network engineer and an MCSE qualification. You must also have knowledge of the following:

- Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012

- Windows 7, 8 and Vista

- Mac OSX

- Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint and Office 365

- Active Directory and IIS

- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT and VLANs

- Firewalls, including Cisco and Watchguard

- Hyper-V and VMware

As a Network Engineer, you must have excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as a confident, proactive and professional approach. Flexible and committed, you must also be able to work under pressure.
