Nuffield Health are currently seeking a permanent full time Lead Data Architect to join their flagship Head Office, based in Epsom, Surrey.
The role will be working within the IT department, working strategically toward the replacement of legacy infrastructure and line of business applications, to deliver increased revenue and growth. Overview of the Role:
The Lead Data Architect will lead and coordinate the delivery of an Information Management Enterprise Architecture and will also include the development and maintenance of the IT Information Management strategy as new technologies, opportunities and challenges appear.
Key areas of duty and responsibility will include:
- Development and maintenance of the IT Information Management Strategy
- Support the governance processes required for compliance
Develop effective working relationships and act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor
- Strategic project work, identifying dependencies and working with PM’s and solutions architects
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Information Management Specialism
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required include:
- Extensive experience working in IS/IT Information or Data Architecture
- Previous line-management experience
- Experience of Databases, Data warehousing, ETL/Messaging and Reporting technologies.
- Working knowledge of operating to a ‘buy not build’ model
- Demonstrably skilled in analysis, calculated risk taking and developing vision and strategies
In addition to the specified skills, we are seeking an individual who understands how a highly matrixed organisation operates and possesses the stakeholder management skills required to function in such an environment. They will be strategic and organised, able to define strategies as well as implement these to ensure maximum return.
