Graduate Software Engineer

Location: Rosyth

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Graduate Software Engineer to join a major international provider of systems and engineering support within the Marine and Technology Division. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is looking to start their career with Software Development, within a growing team which provides great potential for progression and Career Development.

As the Graduate Software Engineer you will be part of the Development team, who provide general IT support and Software Development services to the business. Currently a Team of 8 using Agile methods to interface closely with their clients.

Skills and Experience:

* Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Software Engineering or related IT subject

* Academic knowledge or work experience of:

/ Java

/ Object Oriented Development

/ UML

/ SQL

* Knowledge of the following would be advantageous:

/ Agile Methods (particularly Extreme Programming and Scrum)

/ Oracle

/ Web Development

* Excellent communicational skills

* The ability to work within a team

* Be keen and willing to learn

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work this role requires someone who is eligible to obtain SC Clearance and is ITAR Compliant due to the ITAR regulations
