Embedded Firmware Engineer now required by a Bristol based multidisciplinary engineering team. The successful candidate will take on a key role in the design and continuous improvement of the company's market leading electronic instruments.

The successful Embedded Engineer will have a relevant Engineering degree and strong Embedded C programming expertise and experience of the design of electronic systems. Practical knowledge of some of the following areas is also required:

oC++

oRTOS

oInterface/Driver development

oExperience of communication protocols

oUART, SPI, USB, I2C

oGUI design

It would also be beneficial to have some hardware knowledge. Such as:

oElectronic design using embedded processors

oAnalogue electronics design, including ADC/DAC

oDigital Logic design, FPGAs and VHDL

oSMPS and/or class D amplification

oEMC design techniques.
