Our client is part of a global company supplying Healthcare products and imaging equipment to hospitals and industry. They are seeking to recruit an Engineer to be responsible for all aspects of the maintenance and validation of sterility assurance equipment on a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. Equipment will include a number of Autoclaves and Depyrogenation ovens.

Key responsibilities include development, implementation & upkeep of all steriliser systems & procedures such that they remain compliant with internal standards & external regulations/guidelines.

Accurate & compliant management of all documentation, drawings & certification associated with steriliser systems, working closely with Validation Services where necessary.

You will be responsible for a team of up to 5 people. The team will comprise of maintenance technicians & steriliser validation engineers & will be responsible for their day to day management, motivation, appraisals, training & development. This extends to several contract organisations which will need to be managed to ensure compliance with company standards.

Suitable candidates will be qualified to HNC level or higher in a science or engineering discipline.

Previous experience within a validation scientist / Engineer position in the pharmaceutical industry working closely with autoclaves and depyrogenation ovens is essential as is Team / Group Leader experience.
