My client is looking for a senior project manager to join their company in the Bristol area.

Project Manager is responsible all aspects of a product lifecycle. This includes initial discussion of the market requirement, evaluation of technology options with the Core Technology team, the product specification, design, legislative compliance issues and the transition to manufacture with the assistance of other departmental heads. These actions take place under the delegated authority of the Senior Manager, EMS Engineering.

The role is to ensure an appropriate product as defined by a Market Requirement Specification (MRS) is completed at the agreed prime cost and required quality. A Project Manager is responsible for the following functions:

Min 10 years engineering experience, plus a minimum of 3 years NPI

Management experience

* Strong planning skills

* Product introduction procedures

* Safety Management techniques

* HAZOP, FMEA, SIL

* Product Structures

* European and International standards and directives - MD, EMC, LCD, ATEX, UL, NFPA 79, 86

* Design for manufacturing

* Skill in engineering best practice

Salary on offer up to 60,000 + benefits.
