Image Processing Software engineer developing code that implements machine control and image processing algorithms on inspection and measurement systems. This is an Assembler based imaging platform with the image processing code being written in C#.

Machine Vision - Software Engineer (Embedded systems, C#, Assembler) developing code that implements machine control and image processing algorithms on inspection and measurement systems. This is a low level Assembler based imaging software platform with the image processing code being written in C# for vision inspection systems utilised in a manufacturing environment.

Candidates will have excelling knowledge in image and signal processing as well as experience working in an engineering environment working with embedded Systems, although the image processing / vision software will be written in C#, candidates with relevant domain experience and knowledge in other languages will be considered.

Key areas of relevance for this role will be: Machine Vision, Image Processing, Intelligent Imaging, Smart Imaging, Signal Processing and Vision Inspection Systems.

Essential Skills and Experience

?Image / Signal processing experience

?Software Development skills in a relevant language such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Go or JavaScript

?Experience developing software with embedded systems in engineering environments

?Adaptability to work across several languages

?The ability to work alongside both in house teams as well as remote teams based in the US.

Desirable Skills and experience

?Solid experience in design and development in C# + .NET for Image processing software

?MIL Library, OpenCV(#), Matlab

?Knowledge of automation control systems

?Experience with distributed environments

?Embedded development experience (using environments such as Buildroot or similar)

?Understanding of optics and custom lighting used in vision applications

?Vision inspection experience, ideally in manufacturing systems
