Job Title: Lead Analyst - Debt Sale & Advisory

Location: Nottingham

Salary: to 45,000 + bonus & benefits

Our client is the leading provider of analytics based debt sale and advisory who requires a Principal Consultant to join their team, and play a critical part in maintaining the company`s position at the forefront of the market.

The Principal Consultant will be expected to lead a small analytical team on both debt sale and advisory engagements and be expected to work with senior members of the team and cross-functionally. They will be expected to build strong relationships with client staff ranging from data analysts through to senior management, and will be able to lead a small team whilst having direct responsibility for up to 2 analysts.

The Principal Consultant will have ownership of debt sale and advisory projects from an analytical perspective whilst maintaining the quality of day-to-day analysis. They will also identify and implement opportunities for improvement, communicating with and influencing stakeholders both internal and external.

The ideal candidate will have a good degree with honours in a numerical subject, and previous experience within an analytical role in financial services. They must also have strong experience using SAS/SQL and Excel. The candidate will have exceptional numeracy, sharp attention to detail and a high degree of analytical rigour. Previous leadership experience would be beneficial.
