This is a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing and ambitious IT Support / System Administrator in the early days of their career looking to step up to the next level! Your role will be varied providing 1st - 3rd Line support for around 200 users around the UK.

You'll be working for an established and fast-growing Walsall professional services firm - they are a well known business within their industry and have exciting plans ahead!

In this IT Support / System Administrator role you'll be based at the Walsall Head Office for half the time, with the rest of the time spent on the road supporting other sites around the UK, from Glasgow up north to Portsmouth down south. You'll get your own car, too, which can also be used for personal use.

You will get involved in desktop, server and network issues, new site installations and system upgrades. You'll resolve ticket-based issues over phone and email, and be very comfortable with face-to-face responsibilities. You'll be trained on and support:

* Windows XP / Windows 7

* Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server and Active Directory

* Exchange Server 2003

* IIS Server

* SQL Server administration

* LAN and WAN techs including routing and firewalls, with DNS and DHCP

* Telephony systems

* Firewall and VPN Appliances

* Storage Area Networks (SAN) and VMWare ESX Server
