Role - Finance Transformation Manager/Consultant

Location - London

Salary - 60,000 to 70,000 + 15% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Our client an established global BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company is looking for senior/Lead Associates/ Auditors which specialise in Risk, Testing, and Compliance, Process / Control Reviews etc in Finance or a non Finance area where Change or Transformation is required.

The ideal candidates MUST have experience within the insurance, banking or capital markets sector as well as having experience or able to work within a consulting company. Ideally my client prefers candidates from and established financial audit consultancy background however will also consider candidates that have worked for end users from banks/insurance/brokerage organization.

This role is project base and you will be working on site with an established client on behalf of my client and stake holder management and excellent communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate must have the ability to consult /carry out external/internal audits/change and transformation.

The ideal candidate will have worked as an external auditor/consultant with Finance transformation and specialise in Regulatory Compliance.

Candidate Profile:

Roles & Responsibilities:

This is a key leadership position reporting directly to the Head of Finance Transformation, Europe and the Global Consulting Lead based out of US. The personnel will work closely with the Head of Finance Transformation Europe to scale up the Finance Transformation practice (excluding the Assurance and Accounting Support lines). The personnel will be responsible for not only providing leadership across key projects, but will also develop and own the Consulting methodology and framework, establish a QA framework, help develop new service offerings and value propositions, including providing thought leadership on proposals and RFP's.

*Develop an F&A Consulting framework and roll out a consistent delivery methodology that integrates with our clients own proprietary frameworks and methodologies

*Participate in, and take the lead on key Outsourcing and Transformation pursuits, including competitive RFI/RFP's

*Effectively guide teams of project managers and consultants and provide guidance on key projects

*Conceptualize new service offerings and come up with productized collateral

*Recruit a team of Finance Transformation consultants, help to put in place a core team

Candidate Profile:

*BA or BS, with strong quantitative skills from a leading academic institution

*MBA from top-tier business school (preferred)

*Six-Sigma or Lean Six-Sigma certified (preferred)

*6-10 years of Finance Transformation experience in any of the following disciplines with a leading consulting firm:

oProcess benchmarking and re-engineering

oOutsourcing and shared services advisory

oStrategic Cost Management

oAutomation and Technology advisory

oPerformance Management

*High level of self-confidence, strong people and client management skills and demonstrated leadership ability

*Excellent presentation and written communication skills, including deck writing

*Ability to conceptualize and "productize" new offerings and value propositions

*Experience in financial services, insurance verticals is highly desirable

*Audit, assurance and accounting background or work experience in addition to the above is a plus
