A Highly experienced Java Development Team Lead /Software Architect required to work on a major programme developing Enterprise Platforms for mobile payments/banking and mCommerce.

As the appointed Team Lead / Architect you will be leading one of several tight knit specialist Java Development teams focussed on developing specific components of an Enterprise Platform relating to mBanking, mPayments or mCommerce. Our client has adopted a SCRUM-based approach with 2-3 week sprints and teams that are geographically dispersed.

With multiple roles on the same programme we are keen to hear from Development Team Leads / Software Architects (Server side) that are gifted in core Java and JEE/J2EE.

Essential Skills/Experience:

-Solid commercial experience in Java / JEE / J2EE

-Commercial experience in the role of Technical Architect, Tech Lead / Development Lead

-Excellent knowledge/experience in enterprise application architecture, architectural governance and software quality governance

-Strong UML knowledge

-Proven experience in creating high-level and low-level designs

-Agile delivery (Scrum)

-Degree level education as minimum (sciences, engineering or mathematics is preferred)

Technical

-MVC - Spring, Struts, WebFlow

-Web Services (Rest, SOAP)

-Unit testing (JUnit, Test NG)

-High volume transactional platform development

-Hibernate, JPA

-JMS

-Ant, Maven, Ivy

Desirable Skills/Experience:

-Financial Services sector experience or having worked for a software house whose end clients are financial services companies

-Enterprise platform development for mobile

To be Considered for this posisition you should have atleast 4 years experiance in managing a Team of developers.
