Our exclusive client in Devon has a requirement for a scripting software engineer to create and run continuous test scripts in Python, Bash or Perl. You will be working in an established software team on some high profile, complicated applications. Your role will include working closely with the software engineers to create scripts which test their code. We have several contractors on site whose feedback has always been excellent.

The ideal candidate will have experience of testing stand alone windows/linux based applications. You will be performing regression and continuous integration testing.

Essential skills:

- Python, Perl or Bash

- Creation of test scripts

- Standalone application testing

- SVN

- Regression and continuous integration testing
