Senior Software Engineer/Tech Architect - London, Banking

My client is looking for a strong Java technical lead to work on their industry leading Risk IT platform. This is an opportunity to provide technical guidance, design and develop future proof bank priority Risk system. My client is one of the world's most ambitious banks, with huge IT funding they are looking to rebuild all critical systems from the ground up in Java and open source technologies. Greenfield projects don't come more exciting and ambitious.

The Risk systems are built in Java and work with the Front Office Trading systems provide real-time Risk calculations requirements. The role involves leading a group of experienced Java developers in a project aimed at building a large in-memory data cache and associated data aggregation/reporting functions. Previous experience of in memory Data Caching technology would be beneficial.

The candidate is also expected to be a senior Java developer who has held has experience as a technical lead. Additionally you should be able to demonstrate the ability to view development from a higher level with intra-team development and co-ordination where and when required.
