SC SharePoint Design Engineer

A SC SharePoint Design engineer is required to take on the role of SharePoint Expert for a major organisation. We require: Someone who has the knowledge, skills and the passion to be an expert in their field. This person will have the drive to succeed in all work undertaken from project work to fault finding and 4th line support of SharePoint and associated technologies.

Utilizing tools and techniques for Cloud, Open-stack, Microsoft and other technologies to deliver large scale projects to multiple clients.

8+ years of professional experience and a degree in computer science or related area; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (11+ years in total).

Excellent knowledge of MOSS 2007, SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016

Excellent knowledge of what to expect from SharePoint 2016

Excellent knowledge of IIS

Excellent knowledge of Web Technologies, e.g. JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XSLT, CSS, etc…

Extensive migration experience of moving from legacy solutions to SharePoint 2013/O365

Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008 & 2012

Excellent knowledge of InfoPath

Excellent knowledge of PowerShell and scripting techniques for the deployment of SharePoint

Experience of designing and delivering SharePoint Farms (from low to high availability scenarios)

Experience of designing and building SharePoint based solutions

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Proven track record in delivering high quality documentation

Proven track record of advanced troubleshooting and fault resolution

Desirable Skills and Experience

Excellent knowledge of Office 365

Experience in Records Management solutions for SharePoint

Experience in DocAve (all modules including Administrator, Governance and Migration)

Experience in Metalogix (Control Point and Content Matrix)

Experience in all areas of SharePoint Development

Experience in designing and building SharePoint Workflows (SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio based)

Experience in .NET Development (C#)

Experience in using Nintex Workflow

Experience in using K2 Workflow

Experience in configuring and administering Reporting Server

Experience in configuring and administering Team Foundation Server (TFS)

Experience in SQL Server

Microsoft MCSE Certification
