My client is an award winning UK Law Firm looking to hire several Developers to their team in Northampton. They aren't your typical Law Firm, they are really in to investing in their employees when it comes to wellbeing and their values. They like to advertise the fact that nowhere is unreachable in the company, and that everyone's doors are always open. A lack of hierarchy and arrogance is also something that is important to them.

They are seeking a permanent SharePoint Developer / Analyst who will join the team responsible for the development and maintenance of IT systems.

What will I be doing?

Systems Analysis, Development and Administration

* Analysing and reviewing current information and knowledge management assets

* Investigating, analysing and documenting business requirements

* Producing documentation and specifications

* Designing, developing and maintaining key software components using Microsoft SharePoint Server and other related technologies

* Testing software and resolving any issues

* Working alongside Project Managers

Service Management

* Administering and maintaining the systems as required in accordance with the needs of the business.

* Providing technical and user support on software solutions.

* Developing implementation plans Support other members of the Development team and of the IS Department as a whole.

What do I need to apply?

Essential

* A minimum of 2 years' experience developing Microsoft SharePoint 2013 solutions

* A minimum of 2 years business Analysis experience

* A good understanding of CSS, HTML and JavaScript

* Ability to write SQL queries, stored procedures and ability to analyse SQL data

* Good understanding of IT systems and infrastructure

Preferred

* Experience with the SharePoint 2013 Client-Side Object Model

* Experience with the SharePoint 2013 REST API

* Experience with SharePoint's application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.

* Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
