I am working with a leading medical device company who are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join them on an initial 10 month contract. They are a patient focused customercentric company who are developing world class products to bring innovative solutions to their patients across the globe.

The client have need for a program manger with extensive experience in project/programme management to support them on a global project. Your role will be to support them on a project until February 2019. This is a role where you will be liaising with stakeholders across all divisions, running workshops with business unit leaders and liaising with legal, marketing and commercial to ensure the business is ready for new regulations. As a consultant, you will be working 40hours per week but there will be up to 30% travel to the US, especially in the early stages, for the workshops.

Your role:

* Responsible for the delivery of the agreed portfolio of projects, including the provision of operational direction and support to the individual Project Managers and Project Leaders, assigned to the projects.

* Operate within a Senior Management team to provide strategic direction

* Liaise effectively with other departments, R&D, Manufacturing etc.

* Liaise with the internal customer and Project Managers/ Project leaders to develop detailed project requirements and a detailed project plan which is agreed and meets the customer's requirements.

* Monitor and safeguard commercial viability of the projects.

* Ensure that the portfolio of projects are delivered to agreed time, quality and cost criteria.

* Monitor and safeguard overall portfolio of projects

* Project resource utilisation, planned versus actual.

* Project team briefings, frequency and quality.

* Customer satisfaction throughout project life cycle.

* Project team satisfaction

Your skill-set:

* Programme management experience or 3+ years as a project manager or similar role

* IVD Experience

* Experience of stakeholder management.

* Experience working on a global scale project.

* Must be able to travel up to 30% over the first few months.

* Prince2 would be desirable.
