Who they are looking for?
My key client is mine based in Manchester City centre and is urgently looking for a true DevOps engineer who is an advocate of DevOps and can come on board and consult them on best industry practices.
In addition to this, the ideal candidate must be able to sit within a windows operating system and have strong AWS experience. My client has emphasised that the right candidate must be able to implement and understand what 'Good' DevOps industry practices look like.
The project:
This is a Greenfield project that sits outside IR35 and requires a DevOps engineer who has extensive experience using CICD pipelines, Test automation, Security tools, deployment lines and monitoring.
You will be required to be a lone DevOps engineer who will sit within a cross functional agile delivery team whilst working on delivering a smart application for the end customer.
Essential skill
- AWS
- Ansible
- Terraform
- Jenkins
- Docker
- Experience of using Windows Operating systems
They are looking for someone who knows what 'Good' looks like when it comes to DevOps practices.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge and experience of Windows
Work arrangements:
You will be part of a team of 5 which is made up of;
2 Developers
1 Technical architect
1 Delivery manager
1 Automated tester
You will be required to work 5 days a week 7.5 hours a day
Remote working will only be considered for emergencies.
This is urgent requirement so my client is looking to be interviewing by the end of week with expectation of starting Monday 26th March.
