Their growth plans for next 5 years are aggressive and, as such, they need a dynamic person who can adjust to change easily, be accountable and work tirelessly to deliver the right outcome.

They are looking for individuals who are skilled at analysing problems in order to provide permanent design solutions to customer issues.

In the first 12-18 months you will predominately supply 3rd line support and lead/contribute to project work, after this period they expect the successful candidate to develop into the company's technical lead and ultimately head of department.

The candidate must be able to define new process and develop new ideas to make the service desk more effective with the key drivers being measured and reviewed monthly.

The 3-5 year plan is to grow the business significantly so this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to play a leading part of a growing organisation.

Role Details:

- Research, develop & implement technical solutions (mainly MS Azure and Office 365)

- Architect for current customer security & future development

- Architect for current customer networks & future development

- Provide clients with the best Microsoft solution

- Projects scoped & delivered within defined timeframes & to gross margin targets

- Point of escalation for 2nd/3rd line support

Results:

- Upskill the current workforce

- Demonstrate & instil positive energy within the team

- Reduce incident/request time on tickets

- Effective Azure & Office 365 migration projects defined

Product knowledge

Essentials:

- Microsoft Azure

- Microsoft Office 365

- Microsoft Desktop Windows 7/10

- Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016

Advantageous:

- Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016

- SonicWALL's (certified)

- Active directory/Group policy/PowerShell & VB Scripting

- Networking Experience (Routers, Switches & Firewalls)

- Network Administration & Data Backup Technologies
