This is a family owned business specialising in the design, creation and distribution of exciting and innovative fabrics to the Soft Furnishings trade. Their brands are represented in over 40 countries and they are constantly looking to expand their distribution network. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new role as an I.T administrator working closely with the Financial Director and Managing Director.

The Person:

A "can do" attitude towards delivering outstanding customer service for all areas of IT. The ability to act as the 'go between' by liaising with existing outsourced AS400 (IBM iSeries) and PC/Network support/Telephony providers and the company's employees. A well-presented, hardworking team player with excellent communication skills.

The ability to research, justify and implement new technologies, with a team or acting alone, to improve and modernise the company's existing IT. infrastructure including but not limited to social media, search engine optimisation, Microsoft technologies, Apple and Android OS systems and devices.

Experience/Skills:

- Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 - including a working knowledge of Active Directory.

- Windows 7, 8 and 10.

- Lotus Notes (Desirable) 2016.

- Microsoft Office

- 1st and second line PC network and server support

Reporting/BI Tools

- SQL (Desirable)

- Remote Desktop Servers and Desktop Support. Hardware Support.

- Networking protocols including TCP/IP / VMware Backup Technologies.

- Solid understanding of social media.

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
