SC Cleared Test Analyst

Our client are looking for experienced SC Cleared Test Analysts near Glasgow, Scotland for an initial 5 months, with potential extensions.

Essential skills:

*18 - 24 Months Testing experience (minimum)

*Strong understanding of fundamental testing process & supporting techniques and tools

*Reviewing Requirements and Design Documents to determine the scope of testing.

*Scoping the testing to be performed at a high level.

*Create Test Scripts, using HP ALM, to implement that Test Plan.

*Manually run/evidence such scripts.

*Produce a Test Report, summarising the testing performed.

*Participate in informal and formal reviews of the above.

*Provide support for demonstrations and trials (in-house and on site).

*Test Scripts will support both confidence testing and the evidencing against requirements.

*Ability to plan own time & work unsupervised

*Proactive & help identify issues early in the process

*Must be accountable & take ownership of issues

*Ability to work under pressure & to work tight deadlines

*Excellent communication skills

*Self-starter & quick to learn

Preferable:

*Implementing Windows 2003/2008 Server based solutions - hardware and software.

*Implementing Windows 7, Office 2016 and Office 365 (Desktop, Laptop and PDA) solutions - hardware and software.

*Implementing COTS products on servers to support infrastructure.

*Strong Windows infrastructure knowledge of the MS Server 2003/2008 estate

*Knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure toolsets like AD; DNS; DHCP; KMS

*Network infrastructure troubleshooting skills

*Experience working across security domains

*Experience in hardware/software testing, integration, change management procedures

Desirable:

*ISTQB Certified

*Test Automation using WINRUNNER/QTP/ALM

*ESX VMware / Hyper-V / AIX / SQL / CITRIX / Veritas Clustering / McAfee EPO / Office 365; Appsense; Cloud Infrastructure; Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
