Central London (Kings Cross) - Salary circa £80,000 - £99,000 plus excellent benefits

My client, an established and innovative credit card business and whom is dedicated to helping their customers be better with credit, is currently going through a digital transformation journey, and is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to be responsible for the e2e design multi-platform solutions covering card, loans products and future business innovation.

As a Solutions Architect you will support the team by influencing business aims and objectives through consultancy based on technology domain and delivery practice knowledge (the art of the possible, and technical feasibility), as well as defining application and platform design for internal, external and cloud hosted projects.

In order to make an effective contribution, you will have meet the following essential criteria:

- Highly experienced on multi-platform solutions architecture

- Experienced working on Digital Solutions within an Agile enviroment within Retail Banking/Consumer lending/Credit cards

- Good technical knowledge base and experience using Microsoft products such as, .NET or C#

- Practical experience working on projects involving cloud-based technologies i.e. Azure or AWS

- Financial services application security

- Experience and understanding of Linux / Unix / Windows / Mainframe

- Visio or equivalent

- Web services (HTTP(S) protocols, XML, JSON)

- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

- Encryption and authentication concepts

- Batch and online transaction processing

- Networking concepts including DNS
