Software developer/ Python Developer/ Python Programmer/ Python EngineerMy client is a multinational banking and financial services holding company headquartered in New York City who are seeking Junior - Senior Software Developers with atleast two years of Python Experience to join their Glasgow office on a permanent basis.On a day to day basis you can expect to manage existing and build new risk mathematical functions.The existing functions have been built using Python Pandas and Numpy libraries and resides on Big data ecosystem also uses RESTful API. You will be involved in the design and development of new risk computation function using Rest API on Python.Essential Skills:

'€¢Senior python (v2.7) developer with strong object oriented concepts'€¢Thorough understanding and hands on experience on Python data structures libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, file operations etc.).'€¢Candidate should have working knowledge of RESTful web services.'€¢Candidate should have strong analytical and problem solving skills.'€¢Excellent verbal and written communication skills.'€¢Required experience: Overall 6-10 years with 2 or more years of experience in Python.
