Excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased Engineer to join an industry leading company that prides itself on being ahead of the market and technically advancing its staff through training and progression opportunities.

In this role you will focus on planned preventative maintenance on a range of machinery. You will be a part of a close nit team, as you aim to improve equipment through project work. This role operates on a days based shift, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, with plenty of overtime being available if desired (paid at a higher rate).

The ideal candidate will be a time served mechanical maintenance engineer from a process manufacturing industry. Candidates from Heavy Lifting, Packaging, Automotive or similar FMCG environments will also be considered.

The Role:

*Planned preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery

*Project work to improve equipment

*Fault finding and repair

*Days based role 8am to 4.30pm with overtime available if desired

*Commutable from Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, West Bromwich, Solihull, Tamworth, Lichfield, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Coleshill, Minworth, Marston Green, Wednesbury, Stourbridge

The Person:

*Mechanically biased engineer

*Come from a heavy industry background / manufacturing environment

*Experience maintaining pumps, gearboxes, conveyors

*Hydraulic experience

*Time served apprenticeship
