Job role: Automation Tester

Location: Andover

Contract Length: 6 months

Start Date: ASAP

Candidates should be SC cleared or eligible and willing to undergo the relevant checks

Recent proven experience of delivery of test services into an Agile /DevOps organisation. Working within SCRUM and Kanban frameworks within multi-skilled development teams; providing poly skilled individuals capable of contributing to the team beyond testing.

Recent proven experience in working with the product owner to derive and deliver Business Drive Development.

Recent proven experience of an open and collaborative working relationship at all levels with excellent communication and co-ordination skills when conducting daily stand-ups, team meetings, presentation and demonstrations. Has a no-blame culture and encourages people to learn from their mistakes, working as one team.

Suppliers must demonstrate an ability and willingness to work collaboratively within a multi-vendor delivery environment.

Level 4 Skills for Information Age with 3+ years' experience - Test Automation Analyst / Engineer.

Ability to write test plans, test reports, test strategy and user guides.

Competency and proven ability in the use of MS Team Foundation Server and HP Application Lifecycle Management 12. x to maintain test suites, execution of tests and defect tracking.

Experience working within a secure Defence environment.

Has a development or DBA background in coding.

ISEB Foundation/Practitioner Qualification

Tasks required:

Good communication and liaison skills

Providing regular status reports to the test manager

Identifying and raising project risks and issues

Technologies:

· Web browser testing including APEX 4/5, IE8/IE11 & Chrome scripts compatibility.

· Proven experience in SIT and setting-up CI Pipeline against Oracle APEX

· Applications, .NET applications and Software AG WebMethods.

· A good knowledge & understanding of building and provisioning Windows Server 2012 & Red hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.x servers within Microsoft Azure & VMware vSphere Client 6.x.

· Must have good knowledge of Oracle 10g/ 11g and SQL Server 2012, 2016.

· Must have knowledge of API Testing / Web Services Testing using SoapUI 5.x.x.

· HP ALM 12.2 administrative experience.

Technical skills:

· HP QTP/ UFT and Selenium/Java/F# Canopy/Specflow against Oracle APEX and .NET Applications when writing Automation Scripts.

· Proven experience in using other tools e.g. Selenium, TestNG, ANT, Eclipse, WinSCP, Beyond Compare, Putty.

· Experience in performance testing using HP Loadrunner.

Mandatory Business skills:

Understanding of the Capgemini Review Process, Good PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word, Competent in analysis of requirements and identifying test conditions
