Experienced IT Field Engineer - Server & Infrastructure Support 

Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (office/field based, covering the West End and Greater London)

Up to £37,000 DOE Plus Private Healthcare (after qualifying period), 20 Days’ Holiday + Bank Holidays 

Our client provides network support and IT solutions, serving the SME marketplace. An opportunity has now arisen for an Experienced IT Field Engineer to join their team based in Borehamwood. 

If you’re a talented IT professional with experience of Windows Servers, networks and firewalls and first class communication skills, this is a great opportunity to join a thriving, successful company. 

Based at various client sites around the West End and Greater London, as an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out desktop and server installation, support and maintenance. In particular, you will support small and medium sized businesses that come from many different business sectors with anything from one to over one hundred people. 

Working alongside highly skilled professionals, you’ll enjoy working with people in different areas of the business and gain valuable experience with a leading company. 

As you will be required to attend our client’s offices in Borehamwood on a regular basis, you will need to live within a reasonable commute of the WD6 postcode area of be willing to relocate. 

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of three years’ experience of the following: 

- Windows Server 2008 and 2012

- Networks 

- Firewalls

- VMWare

As an Experienced IT Field Engineer, you will need superb communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organisational abilities and good decision-making skills. A full driving licence is also essential. 

Experience of Exchange 2013 and/or 2016 and Office365 would be beneficial to your application.
