Agile Business Analyst/Product Owner - London - £50-70k

I am currently working on an exciting role for an enthusiastic and agile Business Analyst to join a client based in central London. The role is slightly different to you standard BA role where you will have a wide remit and almost act as a hybrid between a BA and a product manager. The main aspect of this role is around rapid prototyping and creating minimum viable products MVPs using Design Sprints and workshops to flesh out requirements with the users.

This role has 3 main parts. Concept development, Systems analysis, presenting ideas/products back to the business to secure investment for full product development by the development teams. You must be able to work quickly and make decisions to convince the stakeholders on whether to either invest in the product development or have the information/confidence to inform the stakeholders why you should not invest and bin it. The role will have an aspect of return on investment ROI where you will need to analyse how long it will take the developers to build the product and if the company is going to benefit from this in the long run.

What might a normal task look like? Here is an example. An internal customer comes to you with the problem and a rough idea on a Friday afternoon. It seems like a good idea to you so you decide that next week you are going to have a design sprint to flesh it out and decide if it's a good idea to move into development. You come up with a team of people you think that would be beneficial to have involved, understand the problem, brainstorm ideas to solve the problem, decide what you want to build, prototype the product and do some user testing. Then document and conduct some ROI analysis to present back to stakeholders for investment or not. This will typically take around a week or so.

Key points for this role

* Business Analysis skills

* Knowledge of agile

* Running workshops/design sprints

* Requirements gathering

* Return on investment (ROI) analysis

* Rapid prototyping and MVPs

* Strong presentation and communication skills

This is a great role for an individual who is looking for a role that is fast paced, varied and rewarding. If you would like to know more info then please apply to Jay Patel at Energon people for an immediate response.

I look forward to hearing from you!
