An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Operational Risk to join an insurance company, specialising in personal lines, based just outside of London. Easily commutable from Surrey and Kent, my client are a progressive and well established organisation with a fantastic reputation for employee engagement.

The role sits on the Senior Leadership team, and will have a number of direct reports. You will be responsible for leading the Operational Risk & Framework team, ensuring a strong risk framework is well embedded within the business and providing robust challenge over the risk profile.

Your role will primarily be responsible for:

* Risk Framework Implementation

* Oversight of Operational risks

The organisation has a robust and mature Risk framework in place and you will lead on its maintenance and development. Reporting into the CRO, you will be the point of contact for all Risk queries within the organisation.

To be considered for this position you will have strong experience of leadership within an operational risk capacity, leading a function and showing a track record of adding value to a risk framework. Previous insurance experience is critical in this role.
