Proteus Europe is searching for an Oracle Developer speaking French or Dutch available to work in a project based in Brussels

Your New role :-

Main Responsibilities

- Delivers to functional analyst, application owner and testers

- Collaborates with other Oracle developers

- Set up databases and schemas

- Responsible for fine-tuning and performance tuning

- Design, develop and test (stored) procedures in PL/SQL

- Maintain database and data dictionary documentation

- Provide input to traceability matrices and other end-to-end documentation

- Perform methodological and detailed examinations of as-is situations, document these and formulate solutions for to-be

- Perform root cause analysis for operational incidents

- Perform operational hotfix / datafix support

- Create technical analysis based on functional analysis

- Create solution design

- Assist in setting up the service management procedures for post go-live, identify non-functional requirments and (contribute to) set(ting) them up

Mission (purpose of the job)

Senior Oracle developer on 11gR2 up till 12cR2 in a Service Oriented Architecture environment

Your Skills and Qualifications :-

Essential Skills :-

Education

- Higher education or equivalent by experience.

Experience

- Oracle database features and concepts of the SQL and PL/SQL languages

- Experience with compression, data cleaning and archiving

- Worked in different projects or environment

- Broad experience with relational databases in cluster environment.

Skills/Competencies/Attributes

- Very strong IT affinity

- Good communicator

- Methodical, thorough and detail oriented working approach

- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (FR/NL/EN),

- Rapid self-starting capability and team player

- Diplomatic and patient in dealing with people.

- Pro-active mind-set, strong problem solving techniques, hands-on, organized

- Flexibility in work schedule and execution of tasks

- Able to manage various tasks simultaneously, stress resistant

Languages

- Mother tongue Dutch or French, fluent knowledge of English (documentation)

Desirable Skills :-

- Experience working in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in general and IBM middleware stack (MQ, TX, WMB)

- Experience as Technical analyst, Functional analyst, Business analyst or similar
