Infrastructure Engineer (Cisco ASA Networking Firewalls Windows). Join a talented team of engineers delivering mission critical infrastructure ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security for a rapidly growing City based FinTech.

The work is varied and interesting and will allow you to develop skills in different areas. You'll help build, maintain and troubleshoot a rapidly expanding infrastructure within a range of environments, keeping computer systems and network devices up and running on a tight SLA. You'll also get involved with project work; 2nd line application support; liaising with vendors; automating systems wherever possible and documenting standard procedures and protocols.

You'll be working in a collaborative team environment covering regular shifts: week 1 0830 to 1630, followed by 1530 to 2200 on week 2 but with one day in lieu due to covering a Saturday on the week 1 shift. There's a number of perks including free breakfast on Friday and catered lunches twice a month.

Requirements:

*Experience with Cisco ASA network technologies

*Hands on experience with security systems: including Cisco firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering

*Experience of installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows / Linux based environments

*Pro-active, keen to learn new technologies and try different approaches

*Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation
