This company is looking for an inspirational Digital Designer to join their team.

They want candidates who are creative-to-the-bone, passionate about design and love the web. You must be able to understand the mindset of end-users and be capable of delivering beautiful and effective products.

You will work with an incredible variety of clients, from start-ups to FTSE 100 companies, and on a wide range of projects. We'll give you every opportunity to demonstrate your talent and contribute to the success of their projects. You will need to be proactive and eager to put your ideas forward whilst working as a core part of their team.

You should have industry experience within a design/digital agency or similar business. Knowledge of web technologies and the development process would be preferable but this is a creative role and that's what you'll be judged on.

Responsibilities will include:

- Delivering concepts, wireframes and mock-ups within given time frames

- Ability to iterate designs and find solutions

- Taking a user-centred design approach

- Problem solving through creative solutions

- Push the standard of their creative design

- Estimating time required

- Understand brand and identity guidelines

- Understanding and interpreting client feedback

- Work closely with our developers to ensure progression from design to production is seamless and design is central throughout our process

Essential experience:

- At least 2 years experience within a design role, although we will consider exceptional candidates with less

- An understanding of both UX and visual design

- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances

- Good self-motivation and time management

- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

- Ability to communicate and listen well in a variety of formal and informal settings with a range of people

- Computer literacy, using word processing packages, spreadsheets, email and internet

Preferable experience:

- Be well versed in Adobe's creative products (Photoshop, Illustrator etc)

- Knowledge of new generation design tools (e.g. Sketch, InVision, Webflow)

- Experience with CMS (e.g. WordPress, Kentico etc)

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

- Follow web trends/new technologies

- Understanding of web standards and best practices
