Role: Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Medical C# GUI Embedded

Location: Manchester

Salary: £40,000 -£50,000

Day to Day Activity:

Working through the Senior Operation Manager, the successful engineer will take responsibility for the companies embedded and off board medical device software development and support.

Working as a technical lead for the embedded software development, there will be activities across verification and validation. Coding to ISO 13485 standard on medical devices, conducting code review throughout their software applications.

Ideal Requirements

*Complex Embedded Systems Software - C/ C++/ C#

*GUI development

Desirables

*STM/ ARM7/9/Cortex processor software design

*Debugging multiprocessor devices

*Development using C#, Java, QT/QML, Andriod

*CAD/ CAM Mechanical Design and Assembly modelling using Solidworks.

*Low level signal processing (DSP or CPU)

*IDE Embedded workbench

*Communication interfaces - SPR, I2C, UART, USB, Bluetooth.

Personal Attributes

*Analytical Skills and methodical approach to tasks

*Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, across teams/ departments

* Customer Facing at a technical level

Qualifications/ Experience

*Degree in software engineering or closely relevant field

*5+ years industry experience ) microcontroller based software development

*Project-level structured software design, debugging, functional-version control

*Initiative to complete multiple on going tasks
