This company is one of the largest Managed Service Providers within the South West, offering a wide range of services to meet their clients' needs both nationally and internationally.

They are looking for an ICT Technician to help support their expanding client base of Schools throughout Cornwall and Devon. The role will be based onsite at Budehaven working as part of a team responsible for a Windows and Mac network of 500+ desktops. You will have the full support of their help desk and be responsible for day to day support and assistance with IT projects within the school.

Responsibilities and requirements:

- Onsite ICT Support of Windows and Mac Network

- Installation of new desktops and hardware.

- To ensure the smooth operation of ICT systems

- Support of mobile devices, iPads, Android Tablets, Chrome Books

- Assist with management of web content filtering solution.

- Installation and upgrade of schools application software

- Good customer facing skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.

- Install update and support anti-virus solutions

- Maintain confidentiality with regard to customer/company data

- Must Hold a full UK driving license

Skills & Knowledge:

- Able to pass a CRB/BDS check (provided by the company)

- Customer focused, active listening and communication capabilities

- Attention to detail, a genuine passion for getting things right first time, allied to a real focus on delivery

- Work unattended and collaborate as part of a team

- Must hold a full UK driving license

- Manage and support Windows desktop operating systems

- Active directory user management

- Understanding of TCP/IP

- Practical experience of identifying ways to improve processes and working relationships

- Support of mobile devices, iPads, Android Tablets and Chrome Books

- Support of Apple Mac Computers
