A top automotive company based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are now expanding their team and looking for a talented Validation Engineer to join! As their Validation Engineer you will be working on some exciting projects with customers as well as leasing with OEM's. It is important that you are have been involved in validating products in real time and from concept through to final customer approval.

Your role will play a large part in the success of the business as you will be validating and testing from the customer specification ensuring that the products are correct to continue in the companies thriving success. You will be accustomed to problem solving and the majority of the work centred is on creating validation plans to customer requirements so communications is key. As you will be working in one of the most sought after industries safety critical is absolutely key to the projects that this company work on and therefore attention to detail is also important.

Job role:

1. Executing validation plans, recording results and creating test reports for product development in the automotive and industrial sectors

2. Validation system specification design, implementation, test and debug

3.Requirements analysis

4. Documentation of validation systems

5. Interpreting product specifications to produce validation test plans Ensuring that any development relating to validation systems follows the company quality procedures and meets relevant national and international standards

Core skills and experience include:-

Experience in at at least one of the following: hardware, mechanical or software validation

Knowledge of validation embedded products

Experience in building validation test systems

Experience with controlling the test plans and reporting test results

Desirable experience and skills:

Experience with Vector Tools, BusMaster, TestStand, LabVIEW, C#, C++,

Knowledge of automotive standards and protocols

Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO26262

Basic electrical and electronic knowledge
