Operations Engineer (Splunk LogRhythm CCNA CCIE). Hugely successful global online trading firm is seeking an Operations Engineer to join their talented Operations team who are responsible for managing security related events within the company. You will be the product owner for security solutions across the entire company, ensuring they are implemented effectively and that security controls are performing as they should be.

As an Operations Engineer you will take on a range of responsibilities including; configuration of tools to check for appropriate threats and vulnerabilities within a fast moving infrastructure department, working closely with the engineering team to ensure traffic is being monitored and supporting the delivery of new projects ensuring they are risk assessed.

Requirements:

*Splunk experience (will also consider LogRhythm experience)

*Technical certificates (CCNA, CCIE)

*Solid understanding of application security, advanced security attacks and attack mechanisms

*Experience managing Firewalls

*Experience with scripting languages

*Excellent communication skills

*Desirable: Degree educated, exposure to Cloud security and AWS
