AEM Developer

As part of a wider digital strategy initiative, we are migrating a diverse network of websites onto a single content management system, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven web developer to join our team with significant AEM experience, supporting the programme with the creation and maintenance of reusable templates and components. Additionally, the successful candidate will use their prior knowledge to provide suggestions regarding overall technical architecture, helping to craft a solution fit for our complex marketing needs.

Essentials skills

* Confidence creating reusable AEM components, templates, Sling models, servlets and services using AEM 6.x stack, with a minimum of 2-3 years of practical AEM implementation experience

* Full stack web development skills - the role has a focus on Java technologies but with applied front-end experience a necessity

* Experience in writing unit tests using mocking and participating in code reviews

* Experience working within a continuously-integrated development lifecycle

* Ability to work confidently in a corporate environment as part of a smaller, in-house creative agency * Ability to work independently using initiative

* Strong attention to detail and appreciation for visual design principles

* Experience working to a variety of development methodologies and patterns

Desirable skills

* Integration experience with CRM and marketing automation systems such as Salesforce and Oracle Eloqua

* Applied knowledge of usability and accessibility practices

* Experience working with modern automation scripting

* Experience working with Java 8
