Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a VMware NSX Networking Consultant, to be based with market leading client in Birmingham for an initial 3 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward thinking organisation using the latest technologies, who are in the process of completing a data centre move and are looking for an NSX expert to allow them to utilise the product to its full potential, transferring your specialist knowledge to the team in the process.

The pay rate will be between £400-500 per day.

Our client is looking for a VMware NSX Networking Consultant who can offer them project based support, BAU work and consultancy as they move to two new data centre locations, working to tight deadlines, delivering with the latest NSX 6.2 technology. This role will not require an engineer to build, rather provide input to the support and maintenance of the new NSX 6.2 product, along with any improvements that could be made. The focus will be on network virtualization, using VMware technologies including NSX V6.2 and vCloud in a software defined networking environment.

Essential Skills:

* Proven history as a Network Engineer with experience within a data centre environment

* Strong knowledge of VMWare NSX V6.2

* Experience using vCloud

* F5 Load Balancing including GTM and LTM

* Multi Protocol Label Switching
