PMO Lead/Manager - Contract - £500/day

KCOM are looking for an experienced senior PMO lead to join us, working on the turnaround of two major projects within the KCOM portfolio.

This is an initial 3 month contract, with the expectation of an extension. We require someone who can start immediately and are paying a rate of £500/day

Role requirements and responsibilities

* You must understand all pmo disciplines, including reporting, issues, actions, risks, change control, comms, planning, resourcing, financials, governance, etc.

* You will provide proactive support to the 2 project managers and a programme director, managing day to day project disciplines, to free up PM's to drive the project activity forward and resolve multiple parallel issues; whilst delivering key components of the programme director's turnaround plan, which relates to PMO disciplines

* The projects are both towards the end of testing phase, so you will have run PMOs for major IT programmes in the past. Knowledge of IT build, test, service, release management, and cutover deployment processes also important.
