DEVOPS ENGINEER: (AWS, AZURE, KUBERNETES, AUTOMATION)

The work location is in NEWCASTLE and is a 3-6month contract.

Candidate must hold or be willing and eligible to undergo the SC Clearance process

The role is working in a global business and technology leader, innovating in research and development to shape the future of society at large. Working in a company always innovating and thinking ahead.

Must have technical Skills:

* Strong technical background - predominantly in Kubernetes, Azure, AWS and Azure.

* Strong working knowledge and experience with Azure - including networking; backup and storage; monitoring; active directory etc.

* Proven experience in technical automation and tools, including Ansible, Jenkins, Nexus and Git.

* Experience in the installation and configuration of the following applications - Weblogic, Oracle, Tibco, $ Universe, Business Objects - with a view to automating using Ansible.

* Scripting experience in Powershell/UNIX Shell

* Windows update server and group policy experience.

* Excellent technical analytical skills and experience with software packaging and application integration.

* Ability to work in a disciplined environment and to meet challenging deadlines, under pressure.

* Understanding / previous experience working with Agile Methodologies.

* Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to work unsupervised and with a self start mentality.
